It works great,, and looks great... i have the same problem regarding closing the lid and it doesn't align correctly,, so i have to push the front of the box slightly and the cover quickly closes fine... it's not an ideal closing issue.. but for the quality of the box,, and the massive savings over other brand name boxes,, i'll live with the very small inconvenience. I might have given it 4 stars,, but the price, and other quality features make it worth 5 stars to me. ### ⭐ Would not order *by D***H on June 1, 2014* The dock box arrived on time. I placed it on my boat and to my disappointment the latch did not match up with the box to close. I have to press the box in to have the lid to latch. People that use this box other than myself, let the lid down and it has nicked the fiberglass in several places. Do not know if I received a box that was not molded correctly or faulty latch. The manufacturer sent a replacement the next day after we notified him which arrived quickly. That part is good. What you need to consider is that this dock box is not as sturdy as those sold by West Marine and other companies. The price is right, about $150.00 less than the sturdier ones.
