Knowing this was a cheap item, my expectations were quite low, however it has turned out to be worse than bad. It's made of the flimsiest of materials, the pole has bent twice already in the slightest of breezes, so the parasol can only be used on a totally still day. The locking device isn't strong enough to hold the canopy up and so it slowly slides down the pole, meaning every 10 minutes or so someone has to return it to its original position. Also, because of the failure of the locking device, the canopy persistently keeps twisting round.
