Thank you.** A: Fully extended the cable lock is 13 inches long and the lock works very well for securing my helmet to my motorcycle. **Q: Will this fit through the D-ring of my half-helmet?** A: On my Bilt Modular helmet, the metal connector will not go through the D rings. The cable itself would fit, but the metal tip will not go through. Now on my Harley clam shell it goes through just fine. Just need to have the larger D rings The metal tip is 17.5MM so just check you have that much clearance in your D Ring. **Q: Can this cylindrical lock be picked with a bic pen?** A: I wouldn't use it for high security--but not sure how easy to pick; i use it over my car mirror so someone can't easily steal my car cover **Q: Does anyone actually use this to lock a bicycle?** A: Well that would depend on how you are trying to use. Yes it will work to lock a bike, but the inside diameter of the this is 9.2 CM. It will flex to an oval shape, but it won't stretch. So it will largely depend on what all you are trying to get inside this ring, how big the pole, pipe, or rod is that you are attaching the bike to, etc... Hope this helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s a baby gate lock for me, works for my needs. *by A***N on October 17, 2022* We have a metal baby gate at the top of our stairs, but our 3 year old can defeat the locks in seconds. We bought this bike chain to keep the gate locked, and without a key he is definitely not getting through. The lock itself is small but strong, made of heavy, sturdy metal. The cable which is wrapped in some sort of smooth rubber is nice and flexible. It worked for my application. As far as bike chains go to actually prevent theft…this lock only stops honest people. If you live in an area where bike theft is really common, this lock is not for you. This isn’t some sort of high end lock with with ultra thick metal made to deter professional thieves from stealing an expensive bicycle. A pair or harbor freight bolt cutters defeats this (and most other) small bike chains/locks in literally one second. This lock stop random passersby hooligans from committing crimes of opportunity walking away with an unsecured bicycle. As long as you keep that in mind it’s a nice functional lock. I am satisfied for what I bought it for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wish This Was Just a Little Bit Bigger *by J***E on September 15, 2021* This seemed to be a quality product with which to lock my motorcycle helmet to my bike. It was fairly compact, appeared sturdy enough, and being able to lock it without the key, by pressing down on the button was a nice feature. Unfortunately the cable was just not long enough to attach the helmet to the bike. The cable is somewhat flexible so you may think that if you squeezed it a bit, you might pick up a little extra length, but the cable needs to be in the circular position for it to engage and lock properly. The attached photos show that the internal diameter is approximately 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 inches. If that doesn't give you enough space to lock your helmet, this item won't work for you.I do like it and if this product were made in a slightly larger size, I would probably buy it. Being able to lock it without the key is a nice feature in my opinion. Unfortunately, I had to return this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy enough but just alittle too small *by D***K on July 8, 2023* Bought this trying to lock my helmet to my motorcycle bars that wasn’t 6ft long, but this was slightly too small to make it through my helmet chin and around the bars, I was realizing hoping it would work because it feels strong and is small enough to throw under my seat --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/141302395-allnice-mini-bike-lock-cable-portable-anti-theft-bike-bicycle](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/141302395-allnice-mini-bike-lock-cable-portable-anti-theft-bike-bicycle) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
