The Radiant watercolors are dye based, meaning they will fade when exposed to sunlight. (thank you!)** A: I have never used regular water colors.... I used the Dr. Ph martins many many years ago in college and loved them...... I like how cold press paper absorbs. Sorry I can't give a good comparison. **Q: I often leave my leftover colors on the palette. Can these be left dry on a palette and then reactived with water?** A: I do leave these to dry on my palette ...they dry slightly differently. But they do re-activate just as well for me.
