I bought my first pair about 18 months ago and have lived in them virtually every day and they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned - hence buying a second pair. However, I do offer several points of advice. The first is that they are a 'D' fitting and so relatively narrow. The second is they absolutely do need wearing in - they are very stiff and unyielding on first wearing but, in my opinion, they are worth persevering with - it probably took a good couple of weeks wearing them every day before they finally softened down and became like a second skin. The other thing to be aware of is that they have crepe soles, which means they don't have great grip - particularly noticeable when walking on smooth, wet surfaces. And, finally, they are not waterproof. However, if you love a traditional desert boot, then I don't think you will find much better than these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Order a half size bigger *by T***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 November 2019* Some confusion in the listing about the colour. I thought I was ordering olive, but in fact it was the light oak. Not a problem, but the listing needs revising. The sizing does come up small, so as other buyers have suggested, order a half size bigger than your usual shoe size. I did, and they fit perfectly. I bought it 10 years ago and i needed a new pair now. The price is very interesting (blue navy) but they are black instead. It's not a problem for me because i love the both ! The fit is perfect for me.
