My hair is super curly and frizzy. I mix the two in my palms and then run it through my hair. I still have crazy curls, but there is very little frizz... **Q: Does this product work as well as " sally hershberger wreck & roll texturizing cream" ? i can't find this product any longer. help!** A: I'm not familiar w wreck and roll but the curvaceous is excellent because it works equally well in damp or dry hair wthout making hair look greasy. Controls frizz perfectly and allows natural curl to pop. Have tried as a styling gel -type product unsuccessfully. Perfect for more natural look curly fluff and go w/o friz. Definitely my go to product. **Q: Is this product cruelty-free? (thanks:)** A: Really good question! I'm not sure. I'm looking at the box right now and it doesn't say anything about that. It does say 'all products undergo testing by Sally herself at her NYC salon'. But that's the only reference to any kind of testing. I used this product several different ways, trying to make it "work". I tried it on wet hair, damp hair, nearly dry hair, with a diffuser, and air drying. The end result was the same. The product initially seemed to define my curls nicely, but as my hair dried, or within minutes of drying, the curls turned into slight waves and the body fell out. By the end of the day I had limp, barely wavy hair. No frizz, but nothing good, either. The only bonus was that I could use it on totally dry, straight hair the next day and a little bit of wave would come back. I would highly recommend TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier.
