The case held up quite well--close to two years--and only cracked on the edges because of me continuously taking it off to switch between other cases. The belt clip broke as well, but it was due to my negligence and letting it drag around the house (I accidentally smashed it by stepping on it). The raised silicone inner shell protects the screen from flat drops, and the hard shell with the stand is good for watching movies and videos. The belt clip is an added bonus as I don't have to keep this beast of a phone in my pockets. It provides a great angle for watching videos and when windows 8.1 allows a clock to show on the Lock screen this will be awesome..
