This case is the perfect option. I don't need a case that can stand up to rough third-party handling. I'm doing all the transportation myself. It's solid enough to do the job, fits the guitar nice and snug and is lightweight. This is my second Gator case as I have a soft case for my acoustic bass as well. They are well made and durable enough for my needs. Great value for the money. I'm happy with all the bags and cases. They're well made. It's a way to save a few bucks but not get garbage. This case is a great deal if you ask me. It's a little tight but it's works. I actually like that it's so slim. It's easier for storage and it holds my guitar with it moving around. I have the more expensive case and it's great also. I just wanted to save a few bucks so I got this one. It fits my new EVH 5150 and it also fit my Strat. I'm left handed. So its important that my cases fit universal. A lot of times you will find cases that perfectly fit right handed. You need to check if you're a lefty like me. This will do the trick though. I prefer hard cases over bags for my guitars. This is basic. Has a spot for a bit of cables or whatever. The EVH just fits. If the body was any longer it wouldn't fit. So make sure your guitar will fit.
