The black on the outside is nice. Mine came with a stone grey interior made of pseudo felt which I really like the color contrast of. Was not expecting that based on the picture, but it's a nice surprise. Construction seems strong. I don't get the impression that the plastic casing that is attached to half the leather flap will fall off. It's not loose at all, not that I've applied a ton of pressure to it or anything, but it seems firmly in place. Stitching looks solid as well. Fits the phone well. The phone clips in perfectly to the plastic case. No wobble or jiggle. Snug fit that was easy to go in, and slightly a pain to get out, which is what you want. Button access. All buttons are accessible and the camera has ample room to see and do what it needs to. Double sided magnet. I'm a fan of being able to clip the flap backwards and out of view when having the phone perched on the kickstand. Not a lot of other cases seem to do this. Cons: Stinks! This phone has the most repugnant odor imaginable. It smells like nail polish remover or low quality industrial spray paint. Holding the phone/case in my lap literally started giving me a headache from the fumes, and I don't get headaches. Hoping this airs out over the next couple of days, otherwise it will have to go. Always on. I can't seem to pick this thing up without turning the phone on because the case clicks the home button easily. Spigen makes a wallet case for this phone that takes this problem into account and attempted to fix it. I had ordered their phone first, but since they didn't want to ship it I had canceled the order and go for this. Nuetral: Weak magnet? With only 3 cards in the phone still looks flush and it does close fine, though the magnet definitely feels weak. It more just stays there if you put it closed, opposed to feeling that magnet pull when it's close to being closed. The more stuff you put in it the weaker it feels, but this doesn't have an affect on my review. It stays closed fine, and is mostly in my pocket when it's closed anyway. Final thoughts: Seemingly good construction, nice coloring, and decent space. For the record I would say it's limit is 6 cards (2 in each slot) and 4 bills folded in half once. That seems to be where it starts getting too bulgy and brings the weak magnet into account, however, DOES still close as long as you kind of flatten it so the flap can get over. At $7 dollars it's a fine transition case if you're waiting for something better. For example I only got this because Sena cases are still developing a case for my phone and needed something in the interim. Honestly, the smell is bad enough to give this 1 star, but take that away and I'd give it 5 stars considering everything else. As it is, 3 star review from me. ****UPDATE**** After remembering once before when I bought a faux leather belt that stunk to high heaven. For weeks I aired it out and the smell never went away. I ended up putting it in with donations sweaters, because it stunk so bad I didn't want it and didn't feel like returning it. After a few days when I went to take over the donations I smelled it again and the smell was gone. I accredited the sweaters. So, after day 2 of having this case I decided to wrap it in a hand towel for a night. Sure enough the smell was gone the next day. I still wish the magnet were slightly stronger, but when all is said and done I'm probably going to NOT get a $60 case and just stick with this $7 bad boy. With the smell gone, it looks great, holds what I need it to, and looks the part. Great case for the money. Review: This phone case was amazing, especially considering the price - This phone case was amazing, especially considering the price. I say was, because I've taken this through the ringer, I've dropped it from 4 stories up one time- no damage! amazingly. It's convenient with the wallet slits it has, I'm on here to buy another because I have beat my phone case to pieces over 2 years but my phone is still almost brand new considering I've had it for 3 years. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00UAIN39W | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (214) | | Date First Available | March 5, 2015 | | Form Factor | Flip | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Item Weight | 3.19 ounces | | Item model number | FYY-H-228-SG-S6-E-BK | | Manufacturer | GUANGZHOU WENYI COMMUNICATION EQIPMENT CO.,LTD | | Other display features | Wireless | | Package Dimensions | 6 x 3 x 0.5 inches | | Special features | Card Slot | ## Product Details - **Compatible Devices:** Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge - **Compatible Phone Models:** Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge - **Material:** Leather - **Pattern:** Solid - **Theme:** No Theme ## Images ![FYY Case for Galaxy S6 Edge, Premium Leather Flip Case Stand Cover with Card Slots and Note Holder for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/510Nwt6lriL.jpg) ![FYY Case for Galaxy S6 Edge, Premium Leather Flip Case Stand Cover with Card Slots and Note Holder for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/515euWnteML.jpg) ![FYY Case for Galaxy S6 Edge, Premium Leather Flip Case Stand Cover with Card Slots and Note Holder for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51D80ykjSKL.jpg) ![FYY Case for Galaxy S6 Edge, Premium Leather Flip Case Stand Cover with Card Slots and Note Holder for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51LNwgIWvBL.jpg) ![FYY Case for Galaxy S6 Edge, Premium Leather Flip Case Stand Cover with Card Slots and Note Holder for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51PCEXFGgiL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pros and Cons to everything *by M***R on April 19, 2015* Pros: It looks good. Its mostly for the aesthetics rather than the protection. Its very convenient for holding several cards and a pocket for cash. But it is a hassle to put away. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/14173949-fyy-case-for-galaxy-s6-edge-premium-leather-flip-case](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/14173949-fyy-case-for-galaxy-s6-edge-premium-leather-flip-case) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
