It works better than expected. *by A***R on 3 November 2023* The media could not be loaded. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the views about water flow etc...I'm using mine on a plunge pool, so I attached the pumps inlet onto the pool's outlet and put the other pipe over the top of the pool.At first the flow didn't seem to work, however I figured this might be the case given the way I had it set up and gravity. So I did the old suck-to-start which kicked it into action. Once flowing, the pump keeps it going at a good rate. Ideally it'd start itself, however it's cheap.After about 30 mins I stopped it and checked the filter, which was rather dirty already, so I'm happy with that.I've seen some reviews that there aren't any replacement filters, but from what I can tell, this is a type 2 filter as it has a 2 on it. There seems to be plenty of these online, so I don't think it'll be a problem.Very happy with it for the day one use. I'll pop back if it suddenly stops working.For what it's worth, I plan to use it say once or twice a week, given my pool is outside and the pump requires plugging in.Pretty happy 😊. Saves refilling the whole thing every week.In terms of the products itself, it is bigger than expected, but not too big. Assembling is really easy too. Feels good quality.If you get the water flowing well it's very quiet, even if not so great, it's still quiet.5/5 imo.
