When you push down on the actuator to spark a flame, your pinky finger would inadvertently move the fuel flow dial on the bottom. It wouldn’t light on the first 3 or more attempts to light. I had to sit on it to warm it up to get a flame, even in a 68 degree environment. I’ve been searching for more than 3 years to find the optimal lighter, and I am disappointed. I threw that shit away. I don’t want to bother with a replacement nor money back. I could’ve bought .2 in shards and a Bic. Instead guys, just learn from this and make it better. I’m just going to design my own Torch lighter. It lights the first push most of the time. Quality is good. I question if the lighter body is really solid metal or metal coated plastic but regardless the quality is still pretty good.
