By reading some of the other questions looks like the coals last about an hour.** A: The point is not how hot the fire gets but to answer your question, my temp runs about 400 degrees. The coals last longer than an hour as my wings take between 50-60 minutes to be done. I always have coals left over as I close the vents and re-use them again.
