The difficulty isn't from the lights, it's just the mounting method dodge used. You can do it from under the truck, but its a lot easier to remove the headlights to do it. A little difficult to install, but that isn't the fault of the lamps. My fender has a dent in it just big enough to keep the headlight assembly from coming out to get to foglight mounting bolts.
