If you cut at 9 and that is too small, there's nothing you can do about it. **Q: Can this replace the original insole** A: Thank you for your inquiry, unfortunately, the original insole is sturdy and shaped like a cup at the heel, without it the shoe would not fit properly. The resizer is completely flat and thin, you would probably not be happy with the comfort or fit with just the re-sizer installed as an insole.
