I did not realize these are real linen and so I laundered it wrong. I decided to try again because I really liked the way the material feels and hangs...and it's well made...and pretty, too. And reasonably priced. So I bought another and washed it in cold and hung it to dry. I was worried that stains on it from food and drink would not come out. But it washed up great...no stains...perfect. And dries in a flas! So I bought another one, in a different color. And I'm about to buy another. ;-) Bottomline, these are quality tablecloths and I really like them. Just be sure that you wash in cold water and either hang to dry or tumble with no heat. EDIT: I have 3 now. The original that I shrank i put on an outdoor table and it was outside for 2 winters and 2 summers. The red faded some but that pup still looks decent and is going strong!
