If i had to guess the max output ... *by T***O on October 1, 2017* I have used a pair of these for 3-4 days now. This is similar to their tail lights, just have different color plastic. This one is clear, rear is red. so by changing the tint of the plastic they remarket as front light. they both suffers the same issues. First the rubber backing will tend to fall off, so if you are unmounting the light at night, get ready to drop the rubber piece on the ground. The rubber mounts provide flexible mounting, but longevity of the rubber is in question, yet to be seen. The charging is quick, 30mins, the run time is good. If i had to guess the max output at it's brightest is 70~120 lumen, i would be shocked if its more. What is it good for? It's good for getting notice, as a flasher it's great. It's not good as a headlight, I had 2 running at the same time, max setting, pointing downwards... I cant really see that well in front of me. if you are going on a dark street and cruising at 9-10mph, you will hit pot holes and what ever else runs in front of you. Another problem is light bleeding from the side, the lamp isn't frontal focus, so when you mount it on your handlebar, the light bleed back to your eyes making it hard to see forward. Painting the sides black could fix this issue. I think theses are better as front fork mounts helping lighting up the bottom and then further away, you will need a 800 lumen lamp. I don't live in the boonies, but in SF bay area where the streets are fairly lit up. conclusion: good for getting notice, bad as primary head lamp, it's currently only 10 bucks. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good light with a poorly designed USB port seal. *by R***K on May 28, 2018* The lights themselves are great: very bright, the case is sturdy, the switch is easy to use, and the "charging" and "charged" indicators are also bright and clear. I like the attachment scheme, and that four sizes of silicone bands are supplied. These will fit even the smallest strut you are likely to find on a bike (~6 mm) and larger.Where they fall is the silicone rubber pad that goes on the back, between the body of the light and whatever tube or strut the light is attached to. These are so poorly attached to the body of the light that two are supplied—the manufacturer knows you will lose them. Because they are silicone rubber, no adhesive will bond them to the body. Their attachment depends on three small lugs that go part way through the pad. These will only keep the pad from slipping out from behind the body. They rely on the tension of the attachment band to hold them in place. That's fine until you have to take them off.But the real failing is the seal over the USB charging port, which is part of the silicone backing pad. Even if the pad is tightly held between the light body and the bike stem or strut to which it is attached, the projection on the back of the pad that fits into the USB port is not the same shape or a tight fit in the port opening. If the port were located in the center of the light, where pressure is greatest, this arrangement might work. Near the end of the light the seal is not going to be adequate to keep water out; dust, yes, water no. All it would take to fix is to mold the projection for the USB port slightly oversize so that it has to be pushed into the port opening.Overall, a good light with one critical flaw if you use it in the rain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice light for a great price *by M***B on November 8, 2017* Very bright, unfocused light. I wouldn't plan on this using this light as a headlight to see where you are going in the dark, but as a bright flashing beacon to warn oncoming drivers of your presence, it's great. Seems fairly well made. I've managed to get it wet a number of times now with no issues. Battery lasts OK. I haven't done any kind of controlled test to measure battery life, but the manufacturers claims seem reasonably close. What I like the best is that with the long rubber band, I was able to mount the light down on the front of the frame's neck instead of another clunky thing hanging off the handlebars.
