At 5'3" and 155 lbs, I got the small. Thought I got the medium but I must have been thinking ambitiously about losing the extra baby weight. If I were pregnant, I would have gone with medium or large. It's a wrap dress, so if you get too small, it might open up too much if you're being too active in it. The small fits me great. I got it as a nursing dress. Baby is almost a year old, so I don't have much of the postpartum belly left, but I do have a bit of fat around the middle. This dress flatters me well and hides much of the bulge. I got it to wear to a conference as a nice work dress. I can't wear any of my work dresses right now because I can't nurse in them. I'd have to practically get undressed to do it. This dress will easily allow me to nurse and will work great long after I'm done nursing. It's very versatile and doesn't look like it was made for nursing in. I couldn't pull the dress tight enough without the bodice riding very high, which looked very matronly. Even pregnant, I have a small chest, so this may be better for someone with a larger chest.
