Some may find it part of the fun but once you pay to do it several times, these make more sense.To start, they're absolutely crystal clear. If you hold up the same comic in a thick poly bag next to one of these, you will NEVER want to look at poly again. The colors pop, everything looks bright and like a presentation piece.They're also more rigid, so along with a board they add just an extra bit of stiffness, which is particularly great for corners. Not infallible but you get the idea. You need to crease the fold, but once you do it's forever creased, and depending on preference you can even get away without taping these.I switched to using these over poly for everything from signed books and sketches, to just the current runs of things.
