Charge last 4 hours! *by K***P on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2015* This battery is a perfect fit for a Dell Studio 1737 Laptop.Once I did a proper discharge and then recharge, the battery lasted 4 hours between charges.You must follow the instruction in the User Manual in order to get a full charge.1.) Make sure you disable the screen saver, and change the power settings in your laptop to always on by selecting Control Panel, System and Security then Power Options. Change the dropdown “Turn off Display” and “Put the computer to sleep" options to “Never”.2.) Power down the laptop, and remove the old battery. Replace the battery and power up the laptop (WARNING: Do not replace the power cord).3.) The laptop will power up and by hovering over the battery, you will be able to see the charged amount of the battery from the manufacture (NOTE: The battery from the manufacture was almost fully charged).4.) Launch the Dell Battery Meter from the Dell Tools (Battery.exe) or use some other battery monitoring software to keep an eye on the % discharged.5.) DISCHARGE the laptop battery till 2% (At least 5% for Microsoft Vista Operating systems). WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW THE BATTERY to go below 2%.6.) Once the battery reaches the 2% (or 5% mark), replace the laptop charger cord.7.) FULLY CHARGE the Laptop back to 100%.8.) At 100%, remove the Laptop charger cord, and repeat steps 5-7.Your battery will now be ready for normal use and you should get 4 hours on a charge doing light internet surfing and simple application use. Using more processor intensive applications like streaming video or DVD you should get 3 hours on a charge.Please note, never discharge the battery to 0% because it can cause harm to the battery. The steps above will lengthen your Laptop Battery and will make sure it takes a full charge in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Seller service *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2020* The battery works as intended and is a fit for my Dell Studio 1737. I had an issue with the first battery I received from them, it wasn't charging. I started to go through the refund process, they emailed me almost immediately, told me to just keep the first battery and they sent me another one priority, I received it in three days. Excellent service and I advise anyone to use this seller if you can. I can't compliment them enough, just great service and products, there can be a bad apple in every bunch, it doesn't point to the quality of all their hardware overall. ### ⭐ Unacceptable *by V***C on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2016* Doesn't charge to 100%, I purchased this battery less than a year ago and it worked ok for about 3 months but it just stopped taking a charge. This is my work computer so I don't use it everyday. Even though it says plugged in charging 32% it doesn't change. It's been saying the same thing for more than 6 months. As soon as I take it out the plug it shuts down. SO, I have to purchase ANOTHER battery, AGAIN.
