The brake works very well. Easy to assemble, the instructions are informative but extremely small print so get a magnifying glass, and extra time. I got to two scooters so that me and a friend could ride together. one of them seems to have some wear and tear compared to the other, it's totally working fine but appears to have been used, this is an issue I've had with desertcart before, If it was used it should listed as such, I think, but it's really not a big deal because overall they both work fine. I want to love this scooter, as my son had so much fun with it since he got it in May. It was so much fun we decided to get one for my daughter for her birthday today. I'm worried that we did, because a few days before we got my daughters, my son's front wheel stopped turning when you stand on it! it won't move forward. The bearings seem to have gone out or something. I hope this is a fluke and my daughters will be fine.
