I couldn't find small scissors with relatively large finger holes in the Fiskars brand so I took a chance with these. The blades close with satisfying precision that makes for enjoyable cutting. I use them mostly for thread clipping and trimming off fabric bits but they worked perfectly for cutting off the quilted corners of a pillow with batting inside. Thick layers were no problem.
