I have used this item on a couple of awkwardly positioned clamps and despite the clip and tool being knocked, bumped and caught while trying to fit the clamp NOT ONCE did the clamp ping out of the tool. Job time with tool 5 mins, job time without tool anything between 10mins to 2hours of pratting around and swearing every time the clamp pings out of what ever tool you are trying to adapt for the purpose of fitting the clamp Review: Careful on their opening limit - I purchased these to add to my tool collection, they work fine. My only complaint would be the jaw dimensions, but this was becaue I wasn't sure how big my own spring clamps were on my Audi engine.
