Both crashing cause he is holding it doing stuff, or the phone falling out of his pocket getting lost or broken.It fits his Galaxy S7 android phone but I believe it is universal and holds any smartphone under the size of a Galaxy S7 as that size fit perfectly into the inside sleeve that holds it.Your able to still swipe it and use it to navigate or even answer calls if you wanted to.But there is a bit of a glare from the plastic if it's really sunny.The zippered case is softshell but its pretty heavy duty and keeps its shape and fits lots of little things in there. keys, sunglasses, small snacks, few bike tools etc.It was easy enough for a 12 years old to put on. There was a clear misfit of the cover to the body causing the bag to be slightly lopsided.
