I know most people just grab a handful of hamburger and mold it sort of round and plop it onto the grill. But I was spoiled, I had purchased a similar mold years ago and often used it to make burgers. Unfortunately, the old mold was NOT sturdy enough and was breaking apart whenever I used it. I found this one on Amazon. It is well built of sturdy plastic. I measure up 3 or 4 oz of hamburger and use the burger press to make nice well defined patties. My wife likes turkey burgers with jalapeño, chopped avocados, and who know what else. I put the blob into the press and out comes a nice formed turkey burger.
