It’s completely flavourless, which makes such a difference. I use it in smoothies or just mixed with water and it’s really easy to take. It’s also great for baking — I use it in home-made bread making and it works really well without changing the taste but gives a better texture. It’s made a big difference to my gut health and it’s a simple way to get extra fibre in every day. Just make sure you drink plenty of water before and after taking it. If you’re new to psyllium, definitely ease yourself in don’t jump straight to a high dose. I have about 15g a day, but I’d recommend starting around 5g to avoid stomach upset.
