I bought this to add a little something to our wedding invites. Starting out I try to cut off a little of the wax to put in spoon provided to melt down. It wasn’t working out so well. The wax is very difficult to cut. Also you have to wait for the spoon to get hot enough to melt the wax that takes awhile. The best way I found to melt down the wax is use either a torch lighter, match, or zippo lighter to melt down the wax. It goes a lot quicker than to cut it and wait for it to melt in the spoon. Also use a pair of pliers to hold the wax stick so you don’t burn yourself. Get more than 3 sticks of wax if using for wedding invites. ### ⭐⭐⭐ You get what you pay for, really *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2018* The stamp is good quality, no chips or irregularities in the design. Makes for a beautiful seal, if you work fast enough.The wax has a crayon smell, which is strange, but it does the job...once it actually melts. It cools very quickly, making it difficult to get a full pour.The wax spoon is CHEAP--very bendy, and can heat to the handle when you're holding the spoon over the tiny (and rather useless) tea light, or another candle that properly makes flame.Tea lights are cheap as well, smell almost rancid, and the candles do not make enough heat to actually melt the wax. I had to use one of the candles I had made to get the wax to melt. Otherwise, you're scorching the bendy spoon (and possibly your fingers) in order to get any melting to occur.You get what you pay for. I love the seal, and the colors of the sealing wax are acceptable. The book-like case is wonderful for storage! However, be aware that the other vital parts of this set are not exactly up to snuff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Easy Set for Beginners! *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2019* Packaging: The product came in a very clean, undamaged package. The box was nicely tied in a bow and each piece of the set (excluding the wax sticks) were wrapped in plastic. The stamp was finely crafted without any flaws, except that the head was slightly unscrewed when I inspected the new product.Usage: The wax sticks took some time to cut with a knife, though I read later that an x-acto knife cuts through easily. The wax itself dripped smoothly onto the envelopes and the stamp was heavy enough to press down by itself. Concerning the final product, the seals on the envelopes, I saw no flaws.
