This particular belt on the plane can be really sort on the male end, making it difficult to reach with the opposite hand. This extension solve the problem nicely. It comes with a small pouch, too. Well worth it.FYI, there is a different style belt extension that has a different end--I have both for the reason stated above. I recently flew SW, and each leg had a different vintage plane, and the belt ends were different.
