**Q: When do you sow seed grasses**
A: I have not tried to grow my seeds yet I am planning to sow the seeds in spring to avoid any frost damage and birds eating them  I will sow them in a tray and plant them out

A: Gardeners World suggests it can be grown as an annual or short-lived perennial.

**Q: Can i sow these any time of year**
A: I sowed mine in late February. And planted out
After frost. Has grown to about foot long clumps.have it in a pot so see if it will survive winter.probably be OK planted in a sheltered border.never know what kind of winter we are gonna have nowadays.

Planted the seed late so didn't hope for much, especially in a north facing greenhouse, but once they got going and I put them in the full sun, the seeds took off and produced lovely plants to sway in the breeze. Not sure just how many of the seeds propagated, but the ones that did have turned out fine.
