Review: Great for leaf spot - We try to avoid using too many chemicals in our yard, but nothing was working to prevent leaf spot on a number of large photinia in our yard that act as a privacy screen. Once the leaf spot takes hold, the leaves all die off and you're left with an ugly mess until the next season when the leaves grow back, only to get the disease and fall off again. We tried various sprays and methods before buying this and nothing worked. This stuff worked/works great. Not only does it prevent the leaf spot from spreading but in our experience it actually got rid of existing leaf spot, which from what I had been reading was not really possible. I go out and spray with a hose-end applicator about once a month (maybe twice a month during the prime growing season in spring when there's a lot of rain), and it keeps the leaf spot from coming back.

**Q: Has anyone used this to control entomosporium leaf spot on indian hawthorn or on camellias having dieback and canker disease?**
A: This product works excellent for entomosporium leaf spot, but be sure to remove (cut off) "ALL" effected areas first - also great for canker ... use as directed, apply as often as it says - you'll see results in just a week, or for sure by week 2.

**Q: Can I use this indoor plants  ?**
A: It's not for indoors. Smelly and messy. Try Bonide Pyrethrin Garden Insect Spray Concentrate, 8 oz. Pyrethrin is derived from chrysanthemums. Very concentrated. Not smelly and leaves no residue. I think it's safe for pets, too.

**Q: Is this a systemic, or does every leaf need to be wet?**
A: This product works by being a contact protectant. It prevents the fungus from penetrating the plant tissue. It only protects uninfected tissue from becoming infected. That means it needs to be applied regularly, at 7 to 14-day intervals, when the infection is likely

**Q: How much rain wash off is expected with this?  Does one hard rain mean "start over"?**
A: I use this for my hedge Red Tip Photenia that has leaf fungus.  I was told the fungus is air born can be transmitted simply by a leaf falling from a landscape truck.  AND is also spread from moisture-dew or rain that falls with in my city.  So to stay on top of the dead leaf drop, I apply once a week in relation to rain fall.  On weeks where there isn't as much rain, I may apply every three weeks.  I think I get the best result/protection when the application is allowed to stay dry for at least 24 to 48 hours before a rain or sprinklers.  I realize this is not exactly addressing your question, but felt it may be helpful to learn that the rain/dew may in fact be more of an enemy to your plight than simply washing the product away.  This product is the ONLY thing that abated the fungus I mentioned.  Spraying the grown below, trunk and each leaf is a necessity.  Hope that helps in some way.
