It tends to lean making my wax melt flow over the edge and spill when in liquid form. It's dripped down the side & I have wax particles on my floor 😕. You can see in the photo how the solidified wax is to one side.....because the item is heavy and leaning away from the plug. This plugs directly into the wall and if plugged into the top outlet it leaves plenty of room to plug something in below it. The dial acts like a dimmer to go as bright or as dim as you want the light/heat setting. You can put wax or oil in the dish. The dish is a frosted golden color and sits on top of the three prongs. The one and only thing I wish was different was the little dish on top, it would be nice if it could be more secure instead of just sitting there. My puppy knocked the dish off my Last one when playing near it. I just put this one in a safer place.
