Review: Cracked after 7 months; flooded my crawlspace. - While it is a cheap alternative and the threaded fittings are brass, the plastic case itself is, well... cheap. Out of the blue on a mild September day it cracked. Water started pouring everywhere into my crawlspace where the filter was installed. It was actually the day I returned from vacation. Thank God it didn't burst but a week earlier or it would have kept flooding for several days without my knowing. Don't "save money" with this product (read the other reviews: my situation is not unique) and get a real housing for your filter. Sidenote: still waiting for a reply from GeekPure on their warranty.
