Review: Gluten-free? Consistency changed - I have been making my Colombian arepas 🫓 for years and the Goya one has been the perfect one until this one in particular. As I prepared it, I noticed the huge consistency difference and the taste. I went back to analyze the package and I noticed the “gluten-free” mark on it? When I purchased this item, there was nothing on the original picture and or description about that. 👎🏼 (not happy). Price: It was the better price compared to others. Shipping: Fast and no issues.

**Q: Any Kenyan who has tried this flour does it taste like ugali? What’s the taste like, kindly respond with a picture if anyone has cooked ugali from it**
A: Its tastes very good, like jogoo. I don't have a picture, but I have been using it for many years. Kama uko East Coast it is available at Wal-Mart.

**Q: Since I’m an arepa failure and have lost interest in making them, can anyone recommend another recipe or use for this product?**
A: Start with the quantity how many arepas you want to prepare. Place the flour in a deep container, soft butter and mix with warm milk till you be able to make a ball in your hands. Place it over hard surface and pressed til you make a round 1/4’arepa.place it in a hot plate till is cooked turn it to the other side.about one1’ninute cover with sheared cheese till melted and enjoyed.

**Q: Is this made with GMO corn?**
A: As far as I can tell, this is GMO, but this isn’t as scary for me as it appears to be for some. If you are concerned about this, contact Goya Foods Inc directly and ask them and maybe they will consider making non-GMO available. I’m being prevented from providing their contact information here by Amazon filters, but you can use Google for it.
