When I finally got to it, it was a shriveled, dehydrated, sad, pathetic thing. Having purchased from them happily before, I watered it well, made sure it wasn't standing in water, and by the end of the day the leaves had come back to life, the tree looked perky and brand new, had no dead leaves or branches, and I'm a very happy plant parent of this tree (and will work on my plant parenting skills!). Highly recommend this seller; has always been helpful and responsive. Don't know if it'll survive my north facing apt., but I have high hopes. It's that healthy and strong (watch for thorns). Review: Shocked by the quality! - I had low, low expectations. It's the dead of winter, and this had a long trip to make. When it arrived, the box was lying flat in the snow and the heat pack at the bottom of the box was completely cold. Once I fully opened the box? What a shock! One branch was sickly, but the rest of it was a healthy, shrubby tree with tons of green leaves. It looks as healthy as can be, and after repotting it I've not seen any negative impact on it. I would transfer into a pot as soon as possible. Wear heavy thick gloves since the thorns on the plants are brutal. We keep in full sun in a pot (about 50qt capacity) so we can turn now and then. Bloomed within 2 months and again shortly thereafter. If not outside where bees or pollinators can get to it, you should use a small paintbrush to pollinate. Ours set rounder fruits like a key lime, not longer skinnier ones that I normally associate with fingerlimes, but they had the right taste and texture upon use. Every once in a while fertilize with a citrus granule. **Q: What’s best soil for them to grow** A: Fill the pot two thirds with good quality potting soil with some extra sand and bone meal mixed in. Sand will ensure drainage and bone meal will serve as a slow release source of calcium and phosphorous that citrus plants need. I place small stones at the bottom of the pot to improve drainage. **Q: Will the finger line tree grow. In zone 9?** A: Not sure but I live in zone 8 and it will grow well here. My plant is doing great and is growing well. **Q: How big/tall is this plant.(not just the container size)** A: I would estimate about 12” tall without roots and after planting.
