Review: Very good results. Near 200% - Put this seed out a couple weeks ago. Covered half with peat moss and the other half with compost and mist of all it was germinated in 10 days ( 90%). The remainder was about another 5-10 days. I live in zone 8b. Very happy with the results. Very dark green. Will be over seeding this fall

**Q: Do you need to put down a starter fertilizer?   what kind**
A: I didn’t use a starter fertilizer. I applied it in the fall after detaching and aerating. This spring it grew prolifically and has nicely with stood the heat and dry weather.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good but not a “premium” seed

Color is pretty good, definitely a decent green, but if you like super dark cultivars this maybe isn’t the one. The 20lb bag would also be a lot better value at 25lbs instead. But if you need more than 20lbs you enter a territory where you could get a more premium seed for around the same price. This is good for smaller areas in a pinch.
