These do the job very well. A nice feature is that the D-ring is attached horizontally on the strap, so if you pull against the "cable machine" at an angle it won't dig into a wrist or ankle. They are sized so they will fit from a slim wrist (7"?) to a medium-size ankle without any excess length getting in the way or being too short and exposing bare skin to the hook side of the hook-and-loop fastening. The neoprene(?) lining is thick enough to provide a good cushion even during "vigorous exercise" but without creating an unpleasant feeling of pressure.
