Folds up, which is good because we have a small kitchen. It's great that you can roll it around. I received an oak colored top and the cart does not fold at all. The dimensions are also wrong. So... take my review with a grain of salt because I didn’t receive the correct product. I’m going to keep it though because disassembling it would be a drag since I used wood glue where appropriate. Oh well. It is poor quality (about same quality as ikea) but holds lightweight things easily enough. It isn’t square and one of the legs tilts similar to an off-kilter table. Kind of annoying. Overall I would not recommend the cart I received but I doubt it’s the same cart anyone else will receive so I’m not sure how useful this advice is.
