## Description

FlareSeal Mini-Split Pack model # MSP-0406 is the perfect leak free solution for any Ductless Mini Split sizes of 7,000 BTU, 9,000 BTU or 12,000 BTU Systems containing connections of 1/4" liquid and 3/8" suction lines. The main source of leaks on a Mini-Split system is at the flare primarily due to vibration, high pressures, mis-alignment or debris on the flare surface. FlareSeal compensates for all this providing a leak free crush fitting. This coated copper seal easily clips ontoFlareSeal is an engineered copper gasket with a special multi-ring design on the flare surface. The entire copper base metal is coated with a leak proof coating. The combination of a multi-ring flare seal and the coating provide an easy clip on solution that compensates for scratches in the sealing surface and other alignment imperfections between the male and female flare. FlareSeal is available in several combinations that best fits your needs. Our Mini-Split Packs are perfect for the easy leak free ductless mini split installation. **Q: do you keep the same torque specs?**
A: Recommended Torque Settings:
1/4" - 13-17 Ft-lbs
3/8" - 24-31 Ft-lbs
1/2" - 36-45 Ft-lbs
5/8" - 45-60 Ft-lbs
3/4" - 66-88 Ft-lbs

**Q: Whats the max temp and psi for these?**
A: Rated with a -40°F
to 300°F temperature range and corresponding refrigerant
pressures in today’s refrigerant systems.

**Q: can these be reused after they have been torqued? Is this technically a crush washer?**
A: We have customer that do re-use these seals.    FlareSeal act as a crush seal with several points of connection along the flare surface.  However, I would recommend going with a new seal for the best long term connection.

**Q: Will these work for r32**
A: I think you are asking "will they work for R132 freon" and yes they will if you are using a flair connection to your AC unit.   R132 does not run nearly as high pressure as 410 so just a well made flair is probably all you will need.   I've used these but have mixed feelings about them. Sometimes they work great.  But for a zillion years, the flair connection worked perfectly without them, IF it was made well with a good flair tool.  You might also look at this product as an alternative.
