The zip is second to none, the lining on the inside feels great, the finish on the leather is fantastic, the rigidity is perfect for using with a notepad. All-round just ideal if this is the sort of thing you need. I would've maybe chosen a different arrangement of inside pockets, but I'm sure they had a good reason to design it that way. It's perfectly practical and spacious, and looks gorgeous inside and out. My only practical complaint is that it can be a bit difficult to hold because the leather doesn't find much friction against my clothes. Literally nothing to be done except adding a handle on the spine, and I think that might ruin the look. I genuinely regret sending this back, it's so nice and makes a great first impression, I just can't justify the price for how much I'd actually use it (that said, I don't doubt it would last basically forever, so it's still decent value).
