It applies smoothly, dries pretty quickly, and once it sinks in, I don't really feel like I have anything on, which helps when it's hot and muggy outside. It does have a noticeable scent, but it isn't harsh or irritating to me. Just watch out when you open the pop-tab lid. The hole is a bit wide for how fluid the lotion is, so it can pour out pretty fast if you aren't paying attention.
