The brand has a good history with their flood standers which I also owned but sold to make floor space. I gave these a four because of the impressive style and cabinet finish. Comparing these to others ( Elac ) I've owned,.The bass is good but I find the mid-range less so. The Elac's had what I'll call Punch, an undeniable presence that these do not have. They match my furniture colors well, with the white cabinets (very nice), but if it's great sound you're looking for, I'd keep looking. The price was definitely the strong factor here, now less than $300 , which makes them a bargain.
