It’s also a 33 inch deck so it’s a bit longer too, making pumps longer than the carver. If your looking for a long distance pumper to get across town this is awesome. But if your looking to get squirly on the boardwalk this may not be the one. The deck alone is the heaviest deck I’ve ever skated, u can forget about popping this one into the air. But if your looking for long distance smooth cruising without too sharp of carves, this thing FLIES when it gets going and doesn’t require too much to maintain once at an optimal speed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome value! *by H***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2019* This is an awesome board for learning the pumping movement for surf skate. The price is great. I just don’t think the spring will retain its springiness. I am 180 lbs, so I end up having to muscle the pumps more, which I guess makes me stronger but probably doesn’t simulate the floaty feeling of surf. Thinking of picking up a Smooth Star. I bought it for my 8 year old son and he loves it. It’s not too tall as a Carver so great for beginners. However you can still surf with it effectively from side to side like a surfboard.
