They are no match to my $260 10X56 Nikon Monarchs, but still quite good. Image is clear and is bright enough, focusing is good, and they are great for use with eye glasses (many binoculars are bad if you need to use them with glasses). These are replacing a pair of $130 Pentax binoculars that have been very disappointing because being way too dim and hard to use with my glasses. Due to the high power, these will be a bit harder to keep steady, but I am good at that, and the field of view is way better than you would expect.
