No. Do NOT buy this if you’re looking for a cartilage piercing. Now I have this large hoop that makes me look like an emo pirate. I’m sure if you’re looking for a nose ring, this is probably ok (despite being very stiff and hard to work with.) only giving it 3 stars because it got here quick and it might serve a purpose one time to be a pirate for Halloween next year. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the clip is tight, that's a good thing *by S***O on March 17, 2019* I'm nearly 50 years old and I got my ear pierced last year. It's something I've been meaning to do for oh about 30 years, so I decided to finally get over it and do it. I started with a 16g ring which I though was beefy enough for a macho dude like... that guy over there, I'm a total nerd with a dad bod. But after a year I've decided that the 16 is really not heavy enough, so I switched to a 14g, I like it. I'm thinking next year I may try a 12g, we'll see. I mean it too me 30 years to finally do the first hole, no need to stretch it out too quickly. This particular ring is very tight, which makes it both hard to put on and take off, but I don't think that is a bad thing. It also means it will not unhook if I bank my head on the car door or get it snagged in my long, flowing locks.
