The manufacturer went the extra distance in protecting the LEDs for outdoor use by heat shrink wrapping every single led and its wire connection. The cord and wiring is all insulated with no exposed wires. There are convenient one off and mode buttons located on the back of the solar window also made to withstand outdoor weather. This set comes with two options to either stake the solar window in the ground or mount it on the wall, which comes with all the mounting screws and Molly's necessary to use.
