We have 2 different 10 watt mini guns and it works like normal. We looked up a bunch of cool projects that were less about sticking things together and more just things to make with hot glue (fridge magnets, painting templates, jewelry), which can be more engaging and entertaining than plain old affixing and attaching.For the purposes of such projects -- this is totally 5 stars: a) a good amount of sticks b) diverse set of colors c) they look really cool once set d) the colors allow you to mold almost anything -- we even made utensils and dishes for her LOL dolls!But, the glitter / color clearly undermines the tackiness of the glue. These are nowhere near as binding / sticky / strong as regular old Elmers or Gorilla clear sticks.
