Not for runners *by W***9 on May 22, 2019* I have the iPhone XS Max and wanted a larger pack to use when running. This bag is sturdy with thick zippers and substantial zipper pulls. The hardware isn't heavy but feels well made and not cheap. I am unsure if it would work for running but would be great for sure low impact sports: walking, hiking, to use for sightseeing or for general travel use. I would recommend this bag. there is a slot for earbuds and the other compartments are roomy and will hold a lot of different items. There are 3 total compartments. One is in the very back and would rest against your body that is large enough for a passport and large enough for iPhone 8 with otterbox case and has still has extra room. The largest front facing compartment has a key hook and fits the iPhone XS max with case, iPhone 8 with case and still has room to spare. The smallest front facing compartment will hold the iPhone 8 with case but not much else -it's a snug fit. If you are looking for a pack that isn't tacky - it's solid black with only branding in white on the front - I encourage you to check this one out.
