Depending on how much ice has plugged-up the evaporator drain hole; (I would recommend being patient and letting the tube of ice thaw COMPLETELY top-to-bottom at room temp to avoid damage from excess artificial heat, otherwise you'll be starting over again from scratch if any ice remains ANYWHERE in the length of the tube). The ice in my drain tube was so solid that dumping hot water on top had little effect as it would either drip down into the refrigerator or instantly freeze-up. (hence the mentioned 12-24 hr project thaw time)! The evaporator fins attached to the heating element above the drain hole are thin and delicate and you will have to bend one or two slightly when attaching the new clip (don't forget to bend-up the two strip-tabs on the sides of the new clip for maximum conductivity). So yes, an easy, quick and inexpensive install of this new and improved drain-clip, which (assuming the fridge does not have other issues going on) in theory, should solve the icing problem that Samsung shoulda corrected at the factory.
