Personally I don’t use the waterproof and heatproof feature but there a bonus. I just needed something to mount my power-strip on my desk without having it fall in 2 hours like some dirt cheap double side tape. This is different. This is strong AF. I only installed it a couple minutes ago so I don’t know the overall performance yet, but ohhhhhboy did I choose the right tape. Also it arrived 2 days early from Thursday for Today (tuesday) which is PERFECT because my cats were coming today. :D ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sticks very well, but also to itself while still on the roll. *by H***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2021* Bought this to install insulating metallized foam foil to my garage door. Has excellent adhesion to to surface (painted metal) after adequate cleaning. Will see how it holds up in the summer heat.One word of advise: the actual adhesive is a gel that has no structural strengths, but does stretch. Since it sticks a little bit to itself at the edges, when deploying the tape onto the first surface, one has to be careful that it does not separate from the plastic cover that protects the second surface until you're ready to stick whatever onto the front. If that happens, it becomes very difficult to undo, and you end up wasting a stretch of tape. Once you get the hang of it, and pay attention to it, it's no big deal. I needed it for a special project with smooth surfaces. I didn't align the two materials perfectly. I tried to separate the two so I could re-align them. They could not be separated (metal on glass). Oh well, good enough. I keep finding other uses for this tape. If you have a robotic vacuum cleaner and need to use magnetic borders, it's perfect for keeping the border strips stuck to a tile floor.
