I am not a great cook, but not bad either. My husband loves steak medium rare. I always put salt and pepper on it and he likes it ok I guess. I have used a couple other brands and was looking for something not whole spice and not powdered. I like the little bit of texture. This is the perfect amount of texture I was looking for. I bought this and received high praises for it. I discovered it is great on pot roast, pork chops, in stews and soups, just about anything.
