Product Description Article number: 300056043 Item name: 1:16 RC US M551 Sheridan Kit Full Option The M551 Sheridan is another model in the series of 1/16 RC tanks from Tamiya. The M551 is designed for universal use worldwide. The U.S. Army set this tank for a worldwide police after the 2nd World War. With an aluminium chassis tray and small tower, it weighed only 15 tons, but had a huge fire power thanks to its M81 152 mm cannon. The M551 was in service from 1968 to 1996 and was used in Vietnam war among others. Required accessories: 4-channel remote control with receiver (recommended Carson Reflex Wheel Stick), NiMH battery (no LiPo! ), charger, Tamiya TS-/X-/XF colour box contents: model kit with detailed illustrated assembly instructions, multifunctional unit, 2x 380 engines, 1x 130 engine technical details: – model kit in scale 1/16 – length: 408 mm, width 177 mm, height: 186 mm – highly detailed replica of the M551 with its compact M81 cannon – various cranked suspension parts for high stability. Machine gun with LED representation - realistic engine sound and shot sounds. The sounds were recorded by an original M551 tank and are played back in the model via a large speaker. - The upper structure is held over magnets - LED equipped search light front - pre-assembled chains with tread pads made of elastomer replica WARNING: Before you start assembly, you should have read and read all instructions. Great 1/16 scale RC tank from Vietnam Era. Was great fun to build and then drive when completed. Detail is wonderful. Wish that Tamiya would have included rubber road wheels as have with other 1/16 scale tanks. Price was a bit high bit believe this had to do with availability.

Das Panzermodell ist ein schönes Modell. Als Komplettbausatz von Tamjya ist es aber zu teuer zumal man einen Empfänger, Akku und eine Funkfernsteuerung dazu kaufen muss. Bei anderen Herstellern bekommt ein Panzermodell in 1:16 in einer Editionen Version mit Metallgetriebe ,Metallketten und Funke für 500Euro
